New retail president for Stuart Weitzman

Footwear group Stuart Weitzman has appointed former LVMH executive Alyssa Mischon as its new global president for retail.

Stuart Weitzman, which has been part of the Coach group since the start of this year, makes nearly all its products in Spain. It runs 11 factories in the area around Elda in Alicante, nine dedicated to shoes and two to leathergoods. It employs around 3,000 people there.
