72nd edition of Sapica starts in León

Sapica, which styles itself as Latin America’s most important footwear industry exhibition, launched its 72nd edition on March 17 with the event taking place at its usual venue, the city of León in the Mexican state of Guanajuato.

The organisers asid 850 exhibitors would be taking part, with a total of 11,000 visitors expected in the course of the four-day show.

Previous editions of Sapica have attracted buyers from Canada, El Salvador, Spain, Chile, the US, Colombia, Italy, Peru, Brazil, Japan, Costa Rica and Guatemala.
