New Turkish brand to continue its market launch at Micam

Following a debut appearance at GDS in Düsseldorf in early February, new Turkish footwear brand Darkwood will showcase its first collection of men’s and women’s shoes at Micam in Milan (February 15-18).

The company says its collection combines the know-how of footwear designers from Italy and elsewhere with “the expertise of Turkish craftsmanship”.

Managing director of parent company Akasya Limited, Mehmet Subasi, said in the build-up to Micam: “The strength of our brand comes from pushing the limits of excellence in all steps of production.”
