Première Vision Leather to set up trends roadshows

19/09/2014
The show director of Première Vision Leather, the new name for Le Cuir A Paris, Marc Brunel, has announced that the exhibition’s organisers will launch a new series of roadshows to take information such as leather trends predictions to tanners and to buyers of leather, including footwear companies.

“From November 2014,” he said at a press conference on September 17, “we will run roadshows in France and Italy. We are learning from the wider Première Vision organisation, which, for a long time, has used ideas like this to stay close to exhibitors.”

Mr Brunel said the traditional methods Le Cuir used to send out trends information electronically will remain in place.

Claude Vuillermet, director of Paris-based Agence Polyphème, is the trends expert that works most closely with the exhibition.
