Rapid growth at Deckers Outdoor Corporation

First quarter 2015 sales at Deckers Outdoor Corporation increased 24.3% to a record $211.5 million as the footwear group realised gains from its omni-channel initiatives “aimed at elevating the consumer experience”.

UGG brand sales increased 22.8% to $123.3 million, Teva sales increased 25.7% to $39.3 million, while Sanuk sales grew 19.6% to $36 million.

CEO Angel Martinez said: "Our strong top-line performance was fuelled by consumer demand for our compelling spring collections from the UGG, Teva, Sanuk and HOKA brands combined with higher initial wholesale shipments of UGG brand fall styles.”

The company now expects fiscal year 2015 revenues to increase 14% over the 12 months to the end of March 2014 from the previous guidance of 13%.
