Come-back year for Aerosoles in 2013

28/03/2014
Portuguese footwear group Move On has announced that sales of the shoes under its Aerosoles brand increased by 30% in 2014 to reach almost €21 million in value, with €6 million coming from sales in its own-brand stores. The company has created 27 new jobs at its factory at Esmoriz, south of Oporto.

The company survived the insolvency of previous parent group Investvar in 2010; Indian industrial group Tata bought a controlling stake in Move On in 2011 and brought about Aerosoles entry to the Indian market in the course of 2013. Aerosoles also began to sell shoes in the US again last year and both developments helped bring about the increase in sales.
