Clarks and Norton find common ground

Key styles in the new collection are Mellor Top and Norton Zip. Made from premium, heavyweight leather, Mellor Top has a double stitch-down construction, chunky hardware and a layered outsole. For its part, the Norton Zip has a Goodyear welted construction and comes with a reinforced gear-change panel, reflective heel tabs and adjustable hardware among its features.
Head of men’s collections at Clarks, John Parkinson, said on announcing the new collaboration with Norton: “When we first got together with the Norton team, we soon realised the two brands had a lot in common, even though we come from very different manufacturing backgrounds. Our designers were inspired by the new Norton Commando bikes and have created a new biker boot collection that uses premium heavy-weight leathers with close attention to detail, creating a collection with a sense of authenticity.”
