Alicante to have international footwear event

A new event called Co-Shoes International Workshop will take place for the first time in Alicante in October 2014. There has been talk of a new footwear event in the city, which is at the heart of much of Spain’s shoe production, for many years.

FICE, the country’s main footwear industry association, has said the event will be an opportunity for manufacturers and brands to meet, encouraging buyers and brands in all parts of the world to source some of their shoes at least in Spain.
