Turkish group wants to become globally known

Turkish company the Ziylan Footwear Group, which acquired Italian shoe company Lumberjack in March 2012, has said it expects the brand to bring in $250 million in annual sales by 2015.

In recent comments to Turkish media, chief executive, Jaklin Guner, said that Ziylan intends to become a globally known footwear manufacturing group. She said that, under brand names including Flo, Polaris and Kinetic, it is currently making 20 million pairs a year, selling them in a group-owned network of 260 retail stores.
