Walpole, an organisation that promotes the UK luxury sector, has announced that nominations are now open for the 2012 Walpole Awards for Excellence.

The awards event will take place on November 19 in central London. Interested companies only have until July 20 to submit an entry form and each company nomination will cost £170.

There are ten categories. Winners in 2011 inlcuded footwear brand Church and leathergoods brand Mulberry.
