Converse has launched an expanded footwear collection for spring 2009 including new silhouettes, designs, fabrications and materials. The company has also broadened its Jack Purcell and Converse by John Varvatos lines and reissued the Weapon ’86 shoe.

Built on the foundation of the Jack Purcell shoe, the company has debuted the Jack Purcell IT version with refined, rugged high–tops. Crisp black patent contrasts with supple leather uppers in both black and white versions, while padded collar uppers with two rows of D-ring eyelets offer a rugged, clean look.
