Higher sales at DSW

Ohio-based branded footwear retailer DSW Inc. has posted net income of $23.7 million and net sales of $357 million for the first quarter ended May 5, compared with net income of $17.5 million and sales of $316.5 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2006.
