Three ranges on offer are Bayflex Safety, Bayflex Active, and Bayflex Fashion.
Sole densities range from 200 kg/m³ for super lightweight insoles up to 1,200 kg/m³ for solid soles with a tread. One application is systems for low-density midsoles, which allow weight savings of around 20% to 25% over conventional soles yet offer both elasticity and energy absorption.

Polyurethanes are also used in a new class of polyester-based materials characterised by their high resistance to hydrolysis. This enables soles with a long service life to be produced.
