Various experts will also offer an insight into dealing with hazardous substances in different countries. Arnaud Dyduck, assistant manager of France-based CTC Group, will give a talk ‘Control of Restricted Substances in Footwear and Leather Goods: The Key to Protecting Your Brand’; Kathy Leung, project manager of STR HK and Gabor Arpad Piller, chemical director of STR Taiwan, will speak on ‘Recent Trends in New Restricted Substances for Footwear in 2007’; and Andy Huang, senior manager, and Tina Tian, manager, of Intertek, will present ways to ensure physical performance and look at testing for hazardous substances in terms of European regulations.
