Net income for the fourth quarter reached $16.6 million on net sales of $329.1 million, compared with net income of $10 million on net sales of $283.8 million for the comparable quarter in the prior year.

For the fifty-three week fiscal year, net income improved significantly to $65.5 million on net sales of $1.28 billion, compared with net income of $37.2 million on net sales of $1.14 billion for the previous fifty-two week fiscal year.
