Prior to joining Michael Kors, he launched his own couture collection of footwear and accessories, called Figueroa, which sold globally from 1993 to 2003 at Bergdorf Goodman, Nieman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue as well as in high-end boutiques in the USA, Italy, France and Hong Kong.
