Along with Africa, shoes made in Zhejiang are mainly exported to the EU, Ukraine, USA, Russia, Japan and the mid east Asian countries. The Zhejiang shoe industry association, however, is advising that in light of these duties, exporters should shift their focus to non-EU markets as well as improving shoe quality.
