Orthopaedic insoles can benefit from Elastollan, BASF says

Materials developer BASF has said its Elastollan thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) can work particularly well in orthopaedic insoles.

It said the material demonstrates a high level of vibration damping and resilience and inserts made from Elastollan will retain their properties even in fluctuating temperatures.
