Hot on the heels of P448 collab, Inversa targets invasive ‘dragonfin’
Floridian fish skin leather company Inversa Leathers is to expand beyond its debut “lionfish” (Pterois) material to manufacture leather from “dragonfin” (Polypterus senegalus).
Founded in 2020, Inversa exclusively makes its leathers from the skin of invasive fish species. It describes itself as a regenerative producer, owing to its “optimised” wastewater and energy consumption, and earlier this summer collaborated on a line of luxury leisurewear trainers with Italian brand P448.
