Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA) has announced three new judges for the next UK edition of its Real Leather, Stay Different student design competition.

LHCA says its aim in running the competition is to encourage a new generation of designers “to reconsider their relationship with leather and other natural materials” and to create “stunning designs” in which product longevity and minimal environmental impact are key. Entries can be footwear, clothing or accessories; they must be at least 50% made from leather.
