UK footwear trade show announces line-up
Birmingham, UK-based trade show Moda, alternatively called the National Footwear Show, recently published the line-up for its next edition, scheduled to run from September 5 through 8 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
More than 160 brands will participate this year, Moda said.
A key launch during the event is slated to be British television personality and interior designer, Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen’s new line of boots, slippers, socks and umbrellas, named the Llewellington Collection.
Additionally, a partnership with the British Footwear Association (BFA) will give BFA buyers attending the show membership to Moda’s “club”, which includes free refreshments, cloakroom facilities and access to The Club Lounge for downtime in-between engagements.
BFA chief executive, Lucy Reece-Raybould, stated: “The BFA is delighted to partner with Moda in its journey to bring the industry back together.
“As the only dedicated UK footwear show going ahead this year, it is incredibly encouraging to see the commitment, investment and support for the footwear industry demonstrated by Moda as brands and buyers reunite to kickstart a new sales season.”
