Chemicals group BASF has rebranded the plastic additives part of its performance chemicals division.

It has chosen the name Valeras as the new global brand for its plastic additives business.
BASF said on making the announcement that Valeras will aim to increase the sustainability of plastics along the entire polymer value chain.
