Leather UK: More work is needed to counter leather’s detractors

At a “well-attended” meeting of members of Leather UK, the association heard from members about issues facing their companies and discussed ways to tackle problems. Traders said they are receiving lots of enquiries for ‘vegan leather’, particularly from students, who do not know what they want but are adamant they do not want animal skin....
