No recovery on the horizon for Brazil’s footwear exports

This is proving to be a very difficult year for the Brazilian footwear industry and there were no signs of it getting any better in August, according to the latest data from industry body Abicalçados. A total of 8.8 million pairs of shoes were exported from Brazil for a value of $82.9 million in August, decreases of 7.3% and 9.2% respectively....
