Clarks to bring some shoe manufacturing back to the UK

Footwear brand Clarks is to return to making some of its shoes in the UK after announcing plans to open a new manufacturing unit at its headquarters in Somerset. The reshoring will create up to 80 technical and managerial jobs at the site, where Clarks will make up to 300,000 pairs a year of its Desert Boots. The boots are currently manufactured...
