Swiss group poised to buy Dolomite

Swiss company Scott Sports has agreed to acquire Italian mountain apparel and footwear brand Dolomite. Dolomite was founded in 1897 but has been in the ownership of the Treviso-based Tecnica Group since 1998. Its footwear has been used in many high-profile climbing expeditions.
