Plastic ‘debris’ in new adidas collection

German sportswear brand adidas is launching a collection with Grammy Award-winning music producer Pharrell Williams, using yarn made from plastic debris collected from oceans.
In 2008, Mr Williams bought into a textile company that produces Bionic Yarn from The Vortex Project, an initiative that recycles plastic debris from the seas.
