Reports from Bangladesh on July 29 said one worker died and at least seven others were injured when an explosion occurred at a footwear factory in Dhaka. Local media quoted other workers at the factory as saying the explosion occurred when soling materials caught fire. Media named the company involved as Sikdar Plastics.
