Huge increase in Vietnamese shoe production in first two months of 2013

Vietnam’s Industrial Production Index (IPI) saw a year-on-year increase of 6.8% in the first two months of 2013. Footwear production was one of several industries to have achieved notable increases. In January and February 2013, footwear production was 35.9% higher than in the same months in 2012.
