US imported $19.1 billion worth of shoes in 2012

New figures from the US Department of Commerce show that in the course of 2012, retailers and traders brought into the country footwear imports with a value of $19.1 billion. This figure represents an increase of 4.2% compared to the value of shoe imports in 2011.
