South Africa: footwear job losses slow

South Africa’s footwear, clothing, textile and leather sector has recorded a significant slowdown in the rate of job losses, according to a general secretariat report tabled at the recent National Executive Committee meeting of the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union (SACTWU).
