US womenswear and homewares retailer Anthropologie has announced it will launch its first European footwear department in its King’s Road store London, UK.

An 18sq m space devoted to footwear will open in the store in March 2011, selling over 80 footwear styles including the retailer’s own-brand product as well as brands including Surface to Air, Robert Clergerie and Chie Mihara. Anthropologie, which already retails its own brand in the US, will also add the footwear offer to its website.
