UK-based company P2i Ltd has raised £4.1 million ($6.7 million) from new and existing shareholders to support commercial ventures and international growth.

P2i was established in 2004 to commercialise liquid-repellent treatments developed by the military. Its ion-mask technology can be used in a growing range of products including hiking and military boots and running and golf shoes.
