New shoe software at Shoe and Leather Guangzhou
Delcam Crispin presented its latest range of design and manufacturing software for the footwear industry at the recent Shoe and Leather exhibition held in Guangzhou, China, from June 2-4.
Its most significant new product for conventional footwear is TechPac – a 2D system which generates technical packages for footwear designers to supply to their manufacturing partners. The software allows designers to specify the manufacturing processes to be used and the sequences of operation to be followed at all stages of the production of the shoe. It should help to ensure that the design is produced exactly as specified and to the required delivery schedule.
The system is supplied with pre-defined templates to specify the path for the flow of manufacturing data during production. These templates can be modified by the user to cover any specific requirements of the design and manufacturing companies or of the particular project.
