Po-Zu to launch new styles at Micam
UK-based eco-friendly shoe producer Po-Zu is to present new shoes at Micam, which runs March 4-7.
The company will launch a new ballerina in Scottish tweed wool called Joy. The shoe has a removable ankle strap and the tweed upper is made from unbleached and undyed pure wool. It complements other styles in the company’s range for example the tall Yew boot, which has been launched in a new check pattern.
For men, a new Chelsea boot called Che, has an elasticated side gusset made from moulded natural latex sheet embossed with the repeat Po-Zu butterfly pattern.
One of its new unisex styles is the Wrap boot, inspired by the traditional Spats that originated in the seventeenth century as shoe coverings that fasten under the bottom of the shoe with buttons up the side.
Muddy green olive and dirty cherry vegetable-tanned waxed leathers add a splash of colour to its rich truffle browns and the liquorice-black Barkcloth. The range is made with the company’s Butterfly Suspension Mechanism at the heel, which softens the impact as the foot hits the ground. Sandwiched between the sole and the inner-sock is its coconut fibre ‘foot-mattress’, which moulds to the wearer’s foot.
