New autumn-winter trends at MosShoes
A number of exhibitors are preparing to take part in MosShoes, which runs March 18-21 in Moscow, Russia.
German shoe firm Haflinger is among the brands that will be showcasing new models for autumn-winter 2009-10. The new collection includes a new sole for children made from slip-resistant latex. Its adult shoes also have a new hard sole with a removable cork and latex footbed. The brand will also relaunch classic styles that combine leather and crepe soles with knitted uppers.
Meanwhile, ara Shoes will unveil two new sporty styles for the autumn-winter 2009-10 season. The new models feature super-soft leather uppers and purple leather linings.
Materials used across the collection include patent crocodile leather with large embossed scales, Gore-Tex—which is used in several styles in its moccasin and boot segment—and suede. The shoes are said to guarantee dry, warm feet and excellent grip even in icy conditions. Colour combinations include brown/black and violet/brown.
