Prepare for thick heels

The organisers of the WSA footwear show in Las Vegas have revealed that one of the most prominent trends for the autumn-winter 2009–2010 that will come to light during the next edition of the event (February 12–14) is thicker heels on women’s shoes.
”Thick is in,” the organisers said in a press release in the build-up to the event. “The thicker the better when it comes to heels, whether on strappy, sandals, slouchy boots or sexy pumps.”
They said wobbly stilletoes were on the way out and that women should prepare for “a little more support and a whole lot more height”.
