Government asked to name names

22/01/2009

A consumer protection group in Spain has demanded that the government release the names of brands affected by possible contamination from the anti-mould agent dimethyl fumarate.

The organisation, Facua, says thousands of pairs of boots and shoes have been removed from shop shelves since consumers began to complain of allergic skin reactions at the end of last year.

Furntiture and other products have been affected too.
