Appointment at Hi-Tec

Global sports brand Hi-Tec has appointed John Calis as European sales director for both its Hi-Tec and Magnum brands.
With over 24 years' experience in the IT software industry, Mr Calis has worked for numerous IT-related companies building distribution businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
On accepting his new role in footwear, Mr Calis said: “While Hi-Tec is a well-established company with 35 years' footwear experience and industry knowledge, I am particularly thrilled about the opportunities created by their extremely exciting new and innovative technologies, such as the recently introduced ion-mask product. My objective is to grow our European business by working with our current existing portfolio of distributors whose loyalty and expertise is a major contributing factor to the brands' long-term success, while investigating and developing potential new channels of distribution.”
