Italian technical outdoor footwear sole company Vibram is to showcase a range of new technical innovations at ispo, which will be held February 1-4 in Munich.

One new colour innovation is its Vibram 2CM (two-colour moulding), which offers security on cold and icy grounds. The technology used enables the company to produce multicoloured rubber soles with great accuracy. According to Vibram, it presents a totally new way of combining colours on the sole contour.

Vibram Icetrek is another new innovation designed to provide maximum grip on snow-covered and icy terrain. Wearers can also use it indoors as the rubber sole does not damage floors as it has no hard lugs or cleats. It does not pick up humidity or dirt which prolongs its life and it remains dry even on frozen pavements. The standout feature, according to the company, is that it has a higher friction coefficient on ice than any other similar soles currently on the market.
