Vietnam exports 40% more shoes to Spain

Vietnamese leather shoe exports to Spain surged in the first nine months this year in spite of anti-dumping duties, according to the Spanish Footwear Producers’ Federation (FICE).

During the nine-month period, Vietnam exported 27.7 million pairs of shoes worth €217.6 million () to the European country, up 40% year-on-year in volume and 25.43% in value, according to FICE.

In 2007, Vietnam shipped 220.3 million pairs to Spain, an 11% year-on-year rise.
