Chinese shoe brands weather the storm

Despite difficult conditions within the global shoe sector, Chinese footwear brands appear to be prospering, with many claiming orders are up 30%.
Anta Group claims that its order value for the second season of 2009 is up 30% compared with the same period previous year. Meanwhile, Li Ning has reported that footwear orders for the second season of 2009 are up 31.6%, while prices have risen 10.2%.
