Shoebox discovery

With the banking sector suffering, some people are clearly coming up with new places to store their cash.
A worker in a charity store in Illinois set about sorting out shoe donations during her first day in the job, but was surprised to find $7,500 stashed in one of the boxes.
Managers at the Goodwill store near St Louis in Glen Carbon have said they hoped the owner of the shoes would come forward so that they could return the money. Failing that, they said they will use it for their charity’s work.
