Young designer secures André deal

Anglo-French footwear designer Annabel Winship has signed a deal to make six shoe styles for Paris-based retail group André.
Ms Winship, who is also based in the French capital has confirmed to footwearbiz.com that she has created three designs for André’s winter 2008 collection and three more for its summer 2009 range.
The designs are in keeping with her philosophy that women’s shoes should be “comfortable, colourful, girly but not baby, funny but not cheap, pretty but not too sophisticated”.
