Exports rise

Portuguese footwear manufacturers increased their exports in the first seven months of this year, with a rise of 1.6% and a total value of €839 million.
The full-year export totals for 2007 were €1.23 billion in value and 70 million pairs in volume. Portuguese manufacturers export 90% of their production and have customers in 118 countries.
