Wet weather boosts demand for Hunter wellies
Sport and outdoor shoe retailer Fitness Footwear has introduced a new line of Hunter wellies to its product selection, the Hunter 'Original'.
Often referred to as the 'Ferrari of the wellington family' the Hunter original is available in a number of colours, ranging from the bright fuchsia to the classic green.
Celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley have been known to wear the boots, which were actually originally designed for crossing Scotland's tough terrain. Last year the boot saw sales rise by an incredible 85% year-on-year, boosted by new colour additions and children’s boot sales.
"With the current weather, we have seen a huge increase in the amount of wellies that we have sold, and recommend Hunter to anyone who is after a decent pair of wellies this winter,” says Emma Barlow, founder of Fitness Footwear.
