New Tru-Fit Fiberglass Shank System launched
American & Schoen Machinery Company has added a new model to its Tru-Fit Fiberglass Shank Systems range.
Designed with the sample room in mind, the Model ATP-L Sample Room Tru-Fit Shank Unit is said to offer ease of operation, on-demand application and delivery, accuracy of sample shank fit, one-piece or one-pair production as needed, shank forming ability without moulds and instantaneous adaptation to changing design needs.
The new unit uses the shoe last as the form for shaping the shank. It is positioned on the bottom of the shoe last, the last is positioned under the curing station and in just one and half to two minutes the last can be easily removed from the curing area and the shank is complete and ready for use.
Other machines in the range include the ASMS-A Automatic Shank Making System, the ATP-C Simplified Shank Curing Unit and the original ASF-A.
