Nike appoints new VP, men’s athletic training

Nike has promoted company veteran Kris Aman to vice president and general manager of men’s athletic training. He succeeds Peter Ruppe.

Mr Aman will lead a consumer-oriented focus across footwear, apparel and equipment for men’s athletic training. He will also have responsibility for American football and baseball.
 

Mr Aman has been with Nike for 12 years and most recently served as the global general manager of Beijing ’08. He has previously held a variety of roles, including basketball category footwear leader and global footwear product marketing director.
