Footwear firm one of China's best companies

An annual conference for Chinese chief executives in Beijing in mid-September named footwear manufacturer the Aokang group as one of the country's 30 most innovative companies.
Aokang was the only company in the footwear sector to feature on the list. The judges said it was one of China's best known brands, and one of the most likely to have an influence on the lives of the country's citizens. They highlighted Aokang's commitment to innovation, marketing, brand development, technology and corporate philanthropy as the main reasons for its success.
