Danner receives new military contract

Danner, a subsidiary of work and outdoor footwear provider LaCrosse Footwear Inc, has received a $3.2 million delivery order as part of a new contract for the Danner Marine Temperate boot from the Department of Defense.

Danner will deliver the boot order within the next 60 days. This represents the company’s largest one-time delivery order for 2008, surpassing the previous $3 million delivery order in June for its Mountain Cold Weather Boot.

The Marine Temperate boot is produced in the Company’s ISO 9001-2000 certified manufacturing facility located in Portland, Oregon.
